LEARFIELD Amplify’ s development team is a local, dedicated entity representing the University. In complete collaboration with the University, this team is committed through first class professionalism to building top notch donor acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship extending the affinity of the University’s brand to fans, donors, alumni, businesses and corporations of all sizes looking to align with the undeniably loyal and passionate collegiate sports fan base.

LEARFIELD Amplify is actively seeking an Assistant Director of Development to work for Texas Christian University’s Frog Club development team. The Assistant Director of Development will develop and manage premiums seating, philanthropic and annual giving initiatives for the University.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Call current and past customers and cold-call new leads to generate sales and solicit donations
  • Collaborate with Development, Marketing, MMR and others in administration to identify prospects and retention priorities
  • Work closely with Director of Sales and Data Analytics Manager to identify leads
  • Develop and maintain a personal client base donor prospects and customers
  • Heavy focus on philanthropic giving, prospecting for leads and setting appointments
  • Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell premium season tickets
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward prospect bases for annual fundraising campaign.
  • Network at various community and corporate events including business after-hours, clinics, speaker series, etc.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual revenue goals established by management.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly activity and hustle metrics.
  • Provide superior customer service to clients throughout the season.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in sales or development; University or sports related development experience preferable but not required
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships
  • Experience in college athletics development preferred
  • Experience with Paciolan and Salesforce preferred
  • Effectively express ideas verbally and in writing
  • Be able to generate original and imaginative solutions to business opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales goals established by management
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including all home football games
  • History of success in ticket sales or development, preferably with a major Division 1 university or professional sports organization
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Director of Sales
