Position Details

Position Summary

This Assistant, Finance role is essential to supporting Wasserman's financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting across our global operations. This position will work closely with finance teams to support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes while contributing to strategic financial initiatives.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and assist in various financial reporting functions, including financial statement support and analytics
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Work closely with external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to enhance financial policies and processes
• Support financial system implementations and process improvements
• Other duties, including special projects and analysis for senior management, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA or Master's degree preferred
• 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within entertainment, sports, or agency environment
• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to function in a fast-paced, dynamic entertainment environment
• Ability to work flexible hours during busy periods
• Ability to travel periodically for work
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information
