ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a business development leader to drive sales with our clients in South Korea working towards Quarterly sales targets, driving revenue pipeline, developing long-term strategic partnerships and closing sales.
The role is within our Asia Agency & Advertiser Audience Measurement team.
This sales group focuses on business development with our Media agency partners, including creative agencies and developing our Advertiser relationships and partnerships.

The successful candidate will be a senior member of Nielsen’s South Korea Advertiser & Agency team responsible for supporting the Sales revenue of this key vertical reporting to the Director, Advertisers & Agencies, Audience Measurement S.Korea.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive sales results by championing a client-first sales mindset and a disciplined sales process
  • Drive and champion a sales mindset within the organization focused on weekly progression to a quarterly and annual sales target.
  • Building mid- and long-term business development strategy plans and empowering team members to achieve sales goals.
  • As a business development leader of the sales team and a representative of Nielsen, build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Furthermore, to become a client’s business partner, aggressively, suggest solutions which fulfill the client’s needs.
  • Activate Account Strategies/ Solution-based sales strategy management
  • Drive and deliver strategic planning for key accounts, and achieve client-based sales targets.
  • Be the voice of the client and input into our product roadmap
  • Collaborate with other partners in the industry for win-win outcomes with clients
  • Drive Sales Processes/ Cadence
  • Ongoing pipeline management/ sales forecasts
  • Internal (Finance/ Region/ Global) Stakeholder management
  • Achieve solution-based targets, according to solutions
  • Brand Ambassador for the Nielsen Brand
  • Be part of senior Top-to-top sales meetings
  • Represent the Nielsen brand within the industry
  • Drive marketing, and roll-out strategy for new product introductions to the industry


  • QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Strong business development and client growth skills with a proven sales record.
  • 10+ years of experience in solution sales and have high sales skills.
  • Prior experience working with large advertisers in South Korea with industry contacts at both Agencies and Advertisers.
  • Strong and proven understanding of the media industry.
  • High communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset to work well with others;
  • Ability and confidence to communicate and develop relationships with C-Suite executives
  • Well-organized with the ability to plan and prioritize;
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail;
  • Use of established CRM tools - Salesforce a must, others a plus: Linkedin Sales Navigator and SalesLoft.
  • Google Suite Applications(Preferable) – GMail, Google Doc, Google Slides, etc.

  • PREFERRED
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of advertising and marketing and the media industry.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of marketing research.
  • Experience at ad network or ad-tech firms like DSP, TV or related fields.
  • Strong network in marketing, digital, media industries.
  • Experience in leading a team.
