Job Description

Who We Are: A laugh. A tear. A heart skipping a beat. A human reaction to something completely unexpected. This is what drives us. It’s also the inspiration for our name btw (an elevated blood pressure, since you ask). 160over90 is a cultural marketing agency like no other. We’re part of Endeavor – the global powerhouse that has brought you some of the most important culture-changing moments in recent decades. We’d love to tell you it’s easy to be a cultural marketing agency when you’re connected to a force like Endeavor. But the truth is, it takes a badass team to make it all, make sense. To navigate the cultural currents of what people care about most today –and tomorrow; to attach a brand to the right and relevant cultural moment…and then bring that to life across every/any part the marketing spectrum, all under one (metaphorical) roof. Is your heart beating faster yet? Who You Are: First and foremost, you’re serially curious; about brands, about people and the world around us. How all of it is changing and evolving. You’re plugged into culture; Interested and inspired by the now and next. Simply put, you love to ask (and understand) why. You appreciate the value of others. And because we ask our emerging leaders to inspire creative teams and nurture teams of strategists – you’re able to effectively articulate an influential and trusted perspective. You help power the collective that gets us to bigger and better; that gets us to wow. And when in doubt, you do. Because you value courage over comfort. You always give a damn. About the client, the agency, the people and the work. Success in this role requires the intellectual curiosity to stay at the forefront of cultural and category dynamics, the emotional intelligence to question and understand consumer behaviour and the collaborative spirit to work closely with internal creative, account, and project management teams. It also requires a certain confidence, gravitas and way with words (written and spoken) that means clients, listen. Intrigued? Responsibilities: This role is located within one of our hub offices, working across a range of accounts. In some cases, you will serve as the Strategy lead; in others, you will partner closely with more senior strategists. As such, responsibilities span both ownership and collaboration, with an expectation of independent thinking and high-quality delivery. Lead and contribute to all aspects of the strategy process — from research and analysis to insight development and creative briefing — with a high degree of independence and sound judgment. Provide clear, thoughtful strategic counsel to clients and internal teams, including identifying proactive opportunities for growth. Develop comms plans, consumer journeys, and activation frameworks that guide creative execution. Create and present strategic briefs and recommendations to internal & external audiences with clarity and confidence. Demonstrate a strong understanding of client business, category dynamics, and cultural context, contributing informed perspectives to the work. Partner closely with account, creative, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and cohesion throughout projects. Support and, where appropriate, lead components of new business efforts, contributing to both thinking and storytelling. Skills and Experience: Whether you’re a loud force of nature or a quiet powerhouse, we don’t care. But you must bring confidence and perspective to all you do. 6+ years of strategy experience within creative and/or specialist agencies (experiential, partnerships, PR, digital), with potential brand-side exposure. Strong experience across research tools and methodologies, with the ability to synthesize inputs into clear, actionable insights. Proven ability to translate data and cultural understanding into compelling strategic platforms and creative inspiration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver a clear, persuasive point of view. Demonstrates the core traits of a strong strategist: curiosity, emotional intelligence, empathy, and collaboration. Comfortable operating within a large, complex, and non-linear organization, building relationships across teams and within the broader Endeavor network. A portfolio that reflects both craft and impact — contributing to and helping shape work that drives meaningful results. Experience in partnerships, experiential, or culture-led strategy is a strong plus. A track record of contributing to the visibility and value of strategy within teams or client engagements. As for qualifications, we care far more about your thinking and your work than where you went to school. How we work: WME Group is at the center of sports, media, entertainment, and fashion and is a largely relationship-based business. To foster an environment of collaboration, develop our future talent, and build on relationships across leadership, peers, and teams, we work from the office 4 days per week. We see immeasurable value internally and throughout the core of the businesses we support. Don’t meet every single requirement? We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
