The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles’ third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. The Event & Venue Management team is responsible for leading the integrated event operational planning at the venue level for all competition and training venues and some major non-competition venues. The venues are assigned to specific Venue “Clusters”. Each cluster is responsible for managing and coordinating the negotiation of venue agreements, site visits, the collation and organization of venue-related documentation and data, and the maintenance of strong working relationships with all venue partners. At Games Time, the Event & Venue Management team leads and manages the event teams at venues, event delivery, venue communication, and venue issue resolution.
The Venue Cluster Associate will be responsible for supporting venue-related event operational planning, coordinating venue partner engagement, managing and distributing information, and providing project management support across a group of competition and non-competition venues.
The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, with strong foundational skills in project coordination and information management, preferably in events. Analytical skills and familiarity with dashboards and reporting tools will be essential to help monitor progress and performance. Comfortable juggling multiple tasks, they will assist in coordinating venue partner information, tracking action items, managing reporting and assisting in the planning and execution of venue operations. Frequent, clear, and consistent communication with cross-functional venue teams (Venue Infrastructure, Sport, Technology, etc.) will be key to their role.
This position will report to the Venue Cluster Director.
The annual base salary range for this position is $71,000-$75,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000
