We’re looking for a passionate Associate Functional Testing Supervisor who is excited about bringing players' experience for world-famous AAA titles to the next level, through the following:
• Taking sub-lead role and assisting Supervisor and Project Manager - supervising Sperasoft Functional Testing group of 16+ people, responsible for various game titles assigned;
• Coordinating assignments between internal QA teams and the Functional Testing group;
• Decomposing and distributing tasks in order to meet milestones and deadlines;
• Taking part in creating and learning new Functional Testing and QA processes, tools, and approaches (reports, playthroughs, bug templates, etc.);
• Designing and maintaining Functional Testing and QA documentation (checklists, playtest scenarios, etc.) for the team;
• Vetting bugs and issues gathered by the Functional Testing team;
• Performing different types of tests and playthroughs as a part of the Functional Testing team when required;
• Monitoring the teams' performance, escalating and mitigating associated risks;
• Creating and analyzing QA/FT-related metrics (e.g. stability/performance), building comprehensive reporting;
• Contributing to Functional Testers' career plans, and participating in the interviewing process.
Requirements
You have a good chance to succeed if you have some of these skills, qualities, and abilities:
• Passion for games with a desire to understand what makes them great;
• > 1 year of experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in a leadership role or seeking leadership career opportunities;
• Understanding of the QA process as a part of the software development life-cycle;
• QA documentation knowledge (test case/checklist design);
• Analytical mindset and decision-making skills;
• Mature communication and problem-solving skills;
• Experience of working with bug tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, TestLink);
• English skills enough to speak to multilanguage distributed teams.
