The Associate Manager will be responsible for providing support for management staff while assisting in the development and management of current business relationships, sponsorships, and partnerships to ensure client satisfaction and representing client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. This role will include event planning, event implementation, budget development and tracking, and the creation of marketing plans.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assists in the day-to-day management of accounts under the direction of management and senior team members, including but not limited to issuing standing reports, staffing regularly scheduled client meetings, and monitoring and delivering relevant competitive and industry intel
• Develops and maintains positive direct relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities
• Facilitates open lines of communication with key client stakeholders
• Works collaboratively with team members to develop and execute deck creation and report materials
• Acts as liaison with host organizations and vendors to ensure the desired experience for event attendees
• Approaches tasks with a creative mindset while working collaboratively in supporting the creation of projects and programs
• Handles event logistics planning, implementation and execution
• Assists in building and monitoring project budgets, ensuring program accountability and cost management with client
• Able to take ownership over specific partnership elements managed by multiple team members, while maintaining full knowledge of the partnership in its entirety

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2+ years of direct experience within the Marketing, Event Management, Public Relations / Communications or Hospitality field
• Demonstrated project management and budget management skills
• Attention to detail is essential
• Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to multitask, and see projects through from conception to execution
• Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work within in a fast-paced environment and possesses high levels of professionalism, particularly in stressful situations
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter mentality with the ability to operate at a high level and drive decisions
• Energetic, cooperative and pleasant personality – we want to work with good people!
• Possess an interest and have up-to-date knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry with a working knowledge of what is happening across culture today and into tomorrow

Benefits

Base salary range: $65K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
