About the Position

The Golden State Valkyries are looking for Associate Manager, Growth Marketing to provide crucial support in managing paid and institutional media responsibilities across various business units. This role is pivotal in driving revenue, fostering positive brand sentiment, and implementing integrated marketing campaigns to engage our fan base. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Growth Marketing (GSW).

This is full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, splitting time in Oakland, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of performance marketing campaigns with varying objectives across our different business units, focusing primarily on the Golden State Valkyries
• Track and analyze campaign performance data, identifying optimization opportunities and making recommendations for future initiatives
• Explore opportunities to leverage paid media efforts across the organization, including partner collaborations, to maximize impact and reach
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and other teams to ensure alignment of marketing campaigns with overall company objectives
• Support communication with external agencies, conveying priorities and delivering necessary assets for campaign execution
• Assist in managing reporting, billing, and ad trafficking processes to ensure seamless operations
• Stay abreast of the latest marketing and industry trends and standards, incorporating relevant insights into campaign strategies
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Advertising/Marketing, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years in traditional, digital, and social media marketing
• Solid understanding of the marketing funnel, from driving awareness and brand affinity to acquisition
• Experience managing paid media campaigns and executing media plans
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Web Analytics Tools (Google and/or Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager), and paid media platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads)
• Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying obstacles and translating data into actionable optimizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service and issue resolution
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced work environment

Time Commitment

• Ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Compensation

• $87,000 - 92,000 + Bonus
