The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.
Protecting the people and office spaces of LA28 is a critically important role in ensuring the safety and success of the Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, its Stakeholders and Partners.
The LA28 Safety & Security team is seeking a dedicated and professional Physical Security Associate to support operations related to office-based access control, visitor management, surveillance video systems, and safety-related training/awareness for employees, guests and others.
As a front face for the Safety & Security team, the right person for this role will be both detail-oriented and approachable—helping to ensure the safety and comfort of all individuals on LA28 premises. This individual should embody positivity, teamwork, and have the ability to stay calm under pressure while handling situations with professionalism and discretion.
Excellent communication skills are a must, in addition to a commitment to upholding LA28’s standards of safety, security, and hospitality. This role will collaborate closely with several other Functional Areas within LA28 as well as with building management and contract security.
This role will report directly to the Senior Director, Physical Security, Risk, and Business Management.
The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
