We're on the lookout for a collaborative Associate QA Analyst (Live Ops QA) to join our team. In this role, you'll be essential in working through assigned test plans and verifying tasks for your team. You'll partner closely with development and other QA teams, playing a direct part in ensuring the overall quality of our games. This role is a full-time in-office position based in our Downtown Vancouver studio, the selected candidate will be required to be in the office 5 days a week. This will be a 6-month temporary full-time role with the possibility of extension.
In this role, you can expect to:Test Plan and Task Verification:Help develop and maintain comprehensive test plans for assigned features or teamsFollow verification processes for tasks and ensure their execution
Tool and Process Improvement:Collaborate with the QA department to identify areas for improvement in tools and processesAssist in the implementation of new tools and process enhancements
Communication and Relationship Management:Establish and maintain effective communication channels with development partnersFoster positive relationships with dependent QA teams for effective collaboration
End-to-End Testing:Help create detailed end-to-end test plans covering all relevant processesAssist in designing program documents to support the testing process
Test Plan Execution and Analysis:Conduct and monitor the execution of test plansAnalyze test results and recommend changes to test coverage, including automation test plans
Issue Resolution and Solutions:Work on features and proactively identify blocking issuesRecommend, implement, and drive solutions to overcome blocking issuesTo be successful in this role, your background includes:High School diploma1+ years related game testing experience in a similar capacity, preferably for mobile gamesTechnical Abilities: Solid understanding of Game DesignFamiliarity with both Android and Apple devicesStrong aptitude to learn quickly and effectivelyExcited by this opportunity?
