Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite) 

 

Role Overview

To handle the 1st Party relationships on the assigned platform, and support Release Managers on assigned projects. Reports to assigned Release Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with 1st Party Partnerships regarding relationship management for assigned first party
  • Supports Release Manager in owning release management process for specific products
  • Develops subject matter expertise on assigned platform for Release Management Team
  • Drive conversations with assigned first party on urgent deadlines and emergencies
  • Train team members on 2K submissions practices, processes, and procedures along with the intricacies of the assigned portal.
  • Learn and be internal SME for all processes / procedures attached to submissions
  • Support improvement of submissions practices, processes, and procedures
  • Stay abreast of all requirement changes and communicate to internal teams
  • Creates Confluence pages regarding assigned first party
  • Create and handle help tickets primarily via the First Party Portals
  • Support release process for assigned products with support from Release Manager
  • Works closely with PD and Release Manager to review and develop an operational SKU plan
  • Coordinate with QA / PD about status of upcoming Submissions
  • Complete Code Submissions in First Party Portals
  • Lead team scrubs for Metadata Entry
  • Complete test uploads for Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft
  • Support Release Managers supervise project status via Release Checklist
  • Work with 1st PP to show more access to each other’s work streams and pinpoints areas for improvement
  • Uphold and promote the 2K Values

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to create and configure game, bundles and production to storefront portals
  • Previous experience setting up and releasing content on Sony and Microsoft platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, internally & externally
  • Knowledge of bug database systems, QA process, test plan creation, and bug writing process
  • Minimum of 2 years of work involved with Release Management
  • Hardworking, reliable, punctual, flexibility to work unsociable hours depending on deadlines
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Technically proficient with PCs, gaming consoles, and related hardware
  • Ability to liaise with 1st Party in a very thoughtful manner
  • Ability to liaise with other departments

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Associates degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent minimum
  • Excellent organization and time management skill with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, and the flexibility to support an environment where details can change quickly.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication skills, and management skills.
  • Reliable with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and positive personality to champion excellent working relationships
