The Backend Software Engineer will support the modernization of existing solutions and the development of new ones. This work will aid our clients to provide the best and safest products to their end-users, and also contribute to a safer environment for athletes.

 

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Maintain and evolve existing C# applications & components.
  • Contribute to developing new functionalities and components, all deployed to AWS.
  • Make the system more secure, stable, and efficient.
  • A real opportunity to influence architecture and technology.
  • Become a domain expert in the Safe Sport area to help contribute to a safer sports and betting ecosystem.

 

ABOUT YOU:
You are a developer who enjoys challenging assignments, both evolving and improving existing systems as well as creating new functionality. Knowing sports and betting is an advantage, but not required, as we will provide you with good guidance and mentoring. You are also a team member that is eager to collaborate with other developers, DevOps, and product owners. But most of all, having an enjoyable time working on unique products.
 

Required:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in software development (or relevant experience).
  • 3+ years of professional experience with the C# ecosystem or a similar programming language.
  • Experience working with distributed systems.
  • Focus on writing maintainable and well-tested code.
  • Being supportive of your colleagues and helping them when needed.
  • Effective communication skills must be fluent in English.

Plus to have/know:

  • Experience with cloud, containers, and messaging technologies is considered a plus.
  • Experience with Java programming language is considered a plus.
