THE JOB / Baseball Sales & Marketing Trainee – Fall/Winter 23/24

Are you a hard-working and focused individual who is interested in a career in sports marketing? This role will provide you with hands-on experience in talent marketing. The position is remote, and is a paid part-time, (20 hours per week) beginning in November.

Who we’re looking for:

  • You are a current student or recent graduate 
  • You are highly Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You have experience in sales or marketing outreach, business development, cold calling, and research
  • You are very organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong interest in baseball preferred
  • You have proven experience in positions requiring discretion, judgment, tact, and poise
  • You have the ability to work under deadlines

The work you’ll do…

  • Provide administrative support to the marketing staff with tasks such as compiling and organizing data, servicing existing marketing deals, researching new leads, and setting up meetings/calls
  • Research college sports NIL marketing updates and opportunities
  • Build target lists of brands and companies for potential marketing opportunities with clients
  • Make cold outreach via phone/email to marketing leads
  • Research specific markets, brands, and athletes
  • Coordinate and assemble presentation materials for internal meetings and sales pitches
  • Manage requests for our Creative and Legal teams
  • Respond to immediate client requests and/or needs. Follow up on specific client inquiries regarding marketing, appearances, logistics, special requests, travel arrangements etc.
  • Assist with social media strategy and execution for agency and clients
  • Organize and maintain information files
