WORK OPTION: In Office

We are seeking a knowledgeable individual with expertise in multimedia infrastructure and multimedia delivery strategies. This role will be part of our Systems Engineering & Support group. The person must also have experience in media systems, including video, audio, IP, non-linear record/playback devices, and control systems workflow.

Create procedural documentation.

Mentor and train team members.

Ability to work all shifts associated with 24x7x365 production environments.

Provide after-hours and weekend support for production systems and as required.

Background in media industry.

Strong knowledge of Amazon or Azure MediaServices inclusive of Elemental MediaLive, MediaConnect, MediaTailor, and MediaPackage or Azure Media Service workflow

Proven track record of getting things done, handling multiple tasks including communication with internal and external teams while consistently delivering on schedule.

Knowledge of IP networking and multicasting, including streaming media protocols (RTP, RTSP, UDP).

Python scripting or general scripting skills are a plus.

3+ years of broadcast media or IT experience.

3+ years of IP-based video streaming development experience (or equivalent).

3+ years of experience working in the field of web and mobile-web development.

College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Significant field experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
