As the Business Systems Engineer at Katalyst, you will be instrumental in building the foundation for our future growth.  In this role, you will leverage technology to design and automate efficient and scalable business processes.   You will proactively identify areas for improvement and work closely with business owners to architect a scalable technology stack that supports our growth, enhances our operational efficiencies, and eliminates repetitive tasks. 

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions to streamline data transfers between our Shopify store, 3PL, and various business applications.
• Develop scalable processes to support business growth both domestically and internationally.
• Work with business owners to optimize workflows, data collection, and overall process efficiency.
• Leverage technology to automate tasks and integrate systems.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to enhance business operations.
• Document critical business processes and automation in Katalyst SOP format to enhance the technical library.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated excellence in automating business processes, particularly in a DTC and B2B environment.  Bonus points for experience with a subscription business model.
• Strong familiarity with iPaaS platforms such as Workato and Zapier.
• Expert in SQL, Python and/or similar programming languages.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, ERP systems such as NetSuite, and CRM tools such as Hubspot.
• Knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Experience with data models and tools like Fivetran, AWS, and Snowflake.
•  Experience with Direct-to-Consumer marketing workflows and data reporting.

The salary range for this role is $108,800 - $163,260 + equity.
