AXIS at Chyron is a content creation and management system for television stations. We're refactoring and redesigning AXIS to create a more successful, modern, integrated product. We seek a C#/.NET Developer to ensure a highly-available and modern product, focusing on refactoring, automation, and customer needs. Requirements

C#/.NET

Experience or willingness to work with ASP.NET

Experience or willingness to independently investigate and refactor old parts of the product running on an older tech stack

Knowledge of agile processes and workflow

Ability to design and work with complex SOA architectures

Experience or willingness to learn AXIS development stack (ASP.NET, .NET Core, EF, IIS, mix of FE technologies)

Opportunities to Learn

AWS, DevOps, and cloud-native architecture

To improve the product end-to-end, from the architecture to the code

This position requires adaptability in a fast-changing environment and a systematic approach to problem-solving. It's unsuitable for those who prefer clearly defined tasks over agility or is willing to do a greenfield development.
