We are looking for a talented Car Researcher that could support our projects. Car Researcher must possess a strong level of working knowledge about cars and motorsports. The candidate must know how to quickly and accurately verify information using search engines, books, magazines, forums and any other means necessary. Must be comfortable using computers and proficient with MS Office and be able to learn new tools. Must be highly detail oriented, organized and an efficient problem solver. Ability to contribute to specifications based upon expertise in the motorsports industry. Experience with SQL databases and working in a source controlled environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify physics information is accurate given data on car specifications, dimensions, performance, regional differences, history, upgrades, tuning and other details pertinent to car culture and motorsports.
• Participate in research and analysis to confirm car specifications, etc.
• Ability to execute and support process improvement initiatives
• Contribute to support of KPIs and reporting
• Execute test passes across car deliveries from designers to ensure compliance with quality standards, accuracy bar, and studio guidelines.
• Write Test cases to support verification activities
• Write bugs in accordance with studio standards and be responsible for timely regression once resolved.
• Verify player's gameplay experience with each piece of content reflects real-world accuracy for vehicle performance, handling, and character.
• Confirm proper gameplay balance of each asset within the player's unique career modes and within the greater sphere of the automotive community.

Requirements

• 2 + years Testing Experience for AAA Title
• Experience using Source Control tools, Bug Databases
• 1+ years’ experience executing SQL scripts
• 1+ years’ experience with 3D files
• 1+ years’ experience Excel macros, formulas
• Experience manipulating basic image files
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills: Written and Verbal
• Excellent Team Collaboration skills
