About this role:

iRhythm is adding to the Clinical Operations team in Houston, TX!  Opportunities are available for both Zio XT and Zio AT

  • This is a hybrid/onsite/work -from-home position, a strong internet connection will be necessary.
  • In- office requirement: There will be a required weekly in office presence, set to business need.
  • You must live within the specified mileage radius from one of our offices in order to be considered for this opportunity.
    • 70 miles from Houston, TX

XT Cardiac Technician

  • Review patient’s ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, utilizing iRhythm’s Quality Analysis tools for 100% of all records
  • Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities as required according to physician notification protocol
  • Perform 100% of the quality assurance before the final report is delivered to the physician and provide report format modifications and additions as requested
  • Maintain compliance with job specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification (RN or Paramedic may qualify)
  • Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills
  • Meet or exceed the productivity and quality metrics as defined for the role
  • Adherence to HIPAA Guidelines and Best Clinical Practices
  • Other duties as assigned

AT Cardiac Technician

  • Reading, interpreting and reporting on 90-second ECG strips in a fast-paced environment
  • Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills
  • Perform 100% of the quality assurance of reports provided to medical professionals, and provide report format modifications and additions as requested
  • Communicate critical findings to medical professionals verbally and in writing
  • Contact patients via telephone to obtain follow-up transmissions as indicated
  • Adherence to HIPAA Guidelines and Good Clinical Practices
  • Maintain compliance with job specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification (RN or Paramedic may qualify)
  • Meet or exceed the productivity and quality metrics as defined for the role
  • Other duties as assigned

About you:

An experienced Certified Cardiac Technician with the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; an Associate’s degree or two years college course work preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience as a cardiac telemetry monitor technician, Holter scanner or other position requiring ECG interpretation strongly preferred
  • RN, EMT, Exercise Physiologist, CCT, CRAT, EKG certification, CNA or equivalent training preferred.
  • Advanced computer agility skills and knowledge of Microsoft tools
  • Successful completion of new hire training requirements
  • Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
  • Demonstrated capability in rhythm analysis and interpretation
  • You are a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or able to be certified within 120 days of hire (maximum 3 attempts); other related certifications or licenses may qualify (i.e. RN or EMT-P)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must be open to continuous feedback for continual growth and development
  • Great work ethic and a desire to provide high quality outcomes (reports) to our clients and patients
