Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Client Implementation Associate is responsible for supporting Rightway’s PBM client implementations while independently leading smaller-scale implementations for partnership groups (typically 100–500 lives). This role balances hands-on project execution with learning and development, working closely with Implementation Managers on implementations while also owning the end-to-end process for select smaller clients. The Implementation Associate will coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and client contacts to ensure timely, accurate, and seamless implementations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Partnership Implementation Lead (100–500 lives)

    • Serve as the primary point of contact during the implementation process through regularly scheduled client meetings, quarterbacking all deliverables in an organized and professional manner.

    • Lead client partnership, TPA, and small employer group implementations, including gathering and documenting requirements with clients, consultants/brokers, and data partners.

    • Manage multiple concurrent onboardings through Rightway’s Sales and Partnership channels using Rightway’s implementation framework and tools.

    • Coordinate operational and technology readiness activities, ensuring stakeholders provide sign-off prior to launch.

    • Monitor launch activity to identify potential issues and develop rapid response and remediation plans.

    • Partner with clients and Rightway’s Member Marketing team to design and execute an optimal member communication and engagement strategy.

  • Support for Implementations

    • Assist Implementation Managers in planning and executing complex client implementations.

    • Assist in documenting and maintaining project plans, trackers, risk logs, and meeting notes.

    • Collect and organize client requirements and vendor data for larger implementations.

    Process, Risk, and Quality Management

    • Identify project risks and mitigation strategies, communicating them to the appropriate stakeholders.

    • Ensure contractual, regulatory, and privacy requirements are met for all implementations.

    • Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and assets to improve onboarding methodology and training for junior team members.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Operations, Claims, Clinical, and Account Management) to resolve issues and ensure alignment.

    • Identify opportunities to optimize implementation methodology and deliver a best-in-class client experience.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.

  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, client services, or healthcare administration (PBM or healthcare industry preferred).

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage directly with clients and vendors.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with project management software is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, build strong relationships, and deliver results.

SALARY:  $60,000-$90,000/yr

We are all worthy of respect and understanding and we engage in our interactions with care and intention. We honor our stories. 3) We debate then commit
We believe that a spirit of open discourse is part of a healthy culture. We understand and appreciate different perspectives and we challenge our assumptions. When working toward a decision or a new solution, we actively listen to one another, approach it with a “yes, and” mentality, and assume positive intent. Once a decision is made, we align and champion it as one team.

4) We cultivate grit
Changing healthcare doesn’t happen overnight. We reflect and learn from challenges and approach the future with a determination to strive for better. In the face of daunting situations, we value persistence. We embrace failure as a stepping stone to future success. On this journey, we seek to act with guts, resilience, initiative, and tenacity.

5) We seek to delight
Healthcare is complicated and personal. We work tirelessly to meet the goals of our clients while also delivering the best experience to our members. We recognize that no matter the role or team, we each play a crucial part in our members’ care and take that responsibility seriously. When faced with an obstacle, we are kind, respectful, and solution-oriented in our approach. We hold ourselves accountable to our clients and our members’ success.
