THE RUNDOWN 

Playfly Sports is looking for a Client Services Intern to join our team in Chicago Office. Within our 10-week paid Playfly Summer Internship Program, you’ll be immersed into the business side of sports and join our team of talented professionals. Through hands-on experience, projects, and mentoring, you’ll learn the fundamental skills and knowledge it takes to have a career in sports while developing yourself professionally and personally. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH  

  • Place and track product orders for event support 
  • Conduct research as needed, such as seeking out new opportunities and solutions to increase program efficiencies 
  • Participate in managing and overseeing on-site logistics and on-site staff at events, as needed 
  • Assist account teams and local venues to manage the shipping process 
  • Assist account teams and local venues to manage allocation and distribution of products and premiums, including: 
  • Verifying logistics, including times, locations, and messaging 
  • Serving correct products at correct times and correct temperature 
  • Ensuring that quantities of products and supplies have been distributed appropriately 
  • Participate in account team meetings and brainstorming sessions 
  • Compose routine account team correspondence 
  • Provide support for comprehensive end-of-year and/or program analyses 
  • Contribute to team spirit on the account team 
  • Attend all internship events and participate in projects and assignments 
  • All other duties as assigned 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

  • Preferably in a program pertaining to marketing, advertising, sports management, or business 
  • Self-motivated and capable of working without supervision outside of an office environment  
  • Possess strong public speaking skills, sound organizational skills, and computer literacy 
  • Detail-oriented and skilled with data entry 
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills   
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and compelling customer service attitude 
  • Dependable and possess a strong work ethic 
  • Able to work in a team environment 
  • Results-driven and organized, with an ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects 
  • Capable of responding to new opportunities and adapting quickly to shifting conditions 
  • Able to follow directions and meet deadlines 

 

INTERNSHIP DETAILS & APPLICATION GUIDELINES 

  • Preferably entering Senior year of Bachelor’s program, with a graduation date of December 2026 or later  
  • Availability to work June 8, 2026 – Aug 13, 2026, 32 hours/wk, Monday – Thursday 
  • Candidates are restricted to applying to TWO positions only 
  • Interns will be paid an hourly rate of $16.61. 
  • Applications will be open from November 24th. to December 8th. We reserve the right to open or close applications at any point after this window
