Reporting to the Sr. Director of Clinical Sales, the Clinical Sales Director supports Spring Health’s clinical sales teams and drives growth through strategic client partnerships. The Clinical Sales Director works with account executives, developing and implementing tailored mental health solutions throughout the sales cycle and implementation. In collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Clinical Leadership, this role contributes to the ongoing enhancement of Spring’s clinical programs—from strategy and ideation to execution. The Director also serves as a market-facing representative for Spring Health, engaging in conferences, trainings, webinars, and other public events. This is a full time, remote position on our team with 10-15% travel required. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Manage a personal book of business, partnering with Account Executives to develop and implement tailored mental health strategies across the full sales cycle—from initial engagement through implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Clinical Leadership, to drive continuous improvement of Spring Health’s clinical programs, from strategy and ideation through development and execution.
  • Serve as a market-facing representative of Spring Health by participating in seminars, conferences, trainings, webinars, and media appearances.

What success looks like in this role:

  • Drives measurable growth by supporting sales teams in securing and expanding partnerships that increase total eligible member lives.

What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health discipline (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling) and active licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, LCPC).
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in clinical, benefits, or healthcare consulting roles.
  • At least 3+ years supporting enterprise sales, business development, or client engagement in a healthcare or benefits context.
  • Deep knowledge of employee assistance programs (EAP), behavioral health solutions, and employer-sponsored benefits.
  • Strong understanding of MHPAEA, ERISA, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Proven experience translating complex clinical concepts into business impact narratives for executive audiences.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal direction.
  • Strategic and consultative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

The target base salary range for this position is $132,000 - $165,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
