Your playing field:

• You are planning, designing, and monitoring services in the AWS cloud to assure optimal reliability, security, and availability managing automation tasks around containerized applications in Kubernetes
• You are operating and developing with the use of managed services in the AWS Cloud (EKS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, S3, Lambda, Kafka MSK, EC2, ECS, etc.) 
• You are constantly looking for new trends in the market and see how we can benefit from implementation in our environment. 
• You are not afraid to play around with new technologies of your choice to improve the quality of our day-to-day life 
• You are designing infrastructure as a code (IaC) environment in combination with CI/CD workflows. 
• You are operating in a highly flexible environment with continuous service improvement  
• You are working on automating our daily routines and maintenance tasks to be more efficient

Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

• Education and Experience. Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree OR you have 4+ years of professional experience in cloud system engineering
• Subject Matter Expert. You have production experience with AWS, Terraform, (IaC), Kubernetes and Cloud Infrastructure Service Design, implementation and operation skills.  
• You have solid knowledge and experience in designing, setup, maintaining, and troubleshooting Enterprise-level systems. 
• Automation Skills. You have a hands-on experience in scripting and automation (Python, Go, etc.) 
• Issues are challenges for you. You have troubleshooting skills, and you can apply a logical approach to resolutions 
• Benefit. Vendor certifications (AWS) or equivalent, Experience in a Java-based development environment (Java Background is of benefit) 
• Language skills. You are fluent in English. If you have a working knowledge of German, it would be an advantage.
