Do you have a passion for numbers?  Do you believe that the best decisions are made by understanding and analyzing the available data?  Do you want to have a part in ensuring all resources are appropriately allocated?  If so, the Commercial Finance and Insight team at Tipico may be just the place for you!  The Commercial Finance Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders supporting on all financial matters such as planning and forecasting, cash management and financial reporting and analysis.  S/he will also support the Commercial Finance Manager to deliver a seamless commercial finance service to the business.

Your playing field:

• You will support and guide stakeholders in all finance related matters and assist them with realising their financial objectives.
• You will participate in the monthly management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary.
• You will maintain, coordinate, and develop various financial and business models including budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• You will provide ad-hoc analyses as requested.
• You will own and have a thorough understanding of assigned business area.
• You will prepare technical analysis in order to better understand the nature of cost drivers 

This role requires commitment of 20-30 hours per week. Hours can be flexible. 

Which skills you should bring to the pitch:

• Education. Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Finance related subject
• Experience.  2+ years of experience in financial reporting, business modelling and planning and analysis.
• Technical Knowledge. Advanced Excel skills are necessary for this role. Score extra points if you have experience using MS Navision or Business Central.
• Language. German and English is required in full fluency.
• Solution-oriented & hands-on.  Consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances and never too busy to assist with operational work.
• Ownership & accountability. Takes responsibility and holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.
• Curiosity towards the new. Always looking for new ideas to create innovative and better ways for the organization to be successful.
