The Iberia Marketing team at Rockstar Games is on the lookout for a passionate Communications Manager to help manage and launch our projects in Iberia and Lat-Am. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Marketing team to help execute new product releases for all Rockstar Games titles, as well as ensure the smooth maintenance of existing titles in the market and support our ongoing live services. 

This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar’s office in the heart of Madrid.

WHAT WE DO

  • The Rockstar Games Iberia Marketing team develops and executes all go-to-market campaigns for Iberia across Rockstar Games’ suite of titles.
  • We are responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution for all facets of promoting and selling our titles including asset localization, packaging, social media, events, above-the-line, promotions, retail, and much more.
  • We manage all aspects of the Rockstar Games brand for Iberia, ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to across all channels.
  • We work closely with the Rockstar Games global publishing team to ensure seamless execution of plans, including marketing for our live service titles, Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online.

Responsibilities

  • Provide local insight on key communication campaigns and industry trends.
  • Highlight changes in local media / social media landscape, key players, best practices, and changing consumer behaviours.
  • Assume responsibility for regular communications deliverables such as weekly PR blasts or press releases.
  • Provide analysis and coverage reports including local community and press sentiment around our brand and titles. 
  • Actively maintain and develop relationships with media outlets and local industry key partners to identify and maximize communications opportunities. 
  • Brief, supervise, and coordinate with local agency partners.
  • Provide ad-hoc translations from Spanish to English and vice versa.
  • Monitor and report on Media/Community activity on social media.  
  • Track spending and budgets.
  • Assist the Iberia Marketing team with ad-hoc requirements and tasks. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing and/or Communications or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ year experience in Communications.
  • Ability to travel, for occasions such as game demos, industry events or company meetings.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive with ability to work both with less supervision and as part of a team environment.
  • Excellent planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written language skills (fluent in Spanish and English).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with media, social media and data analysis.

  • Experience working within the entertainment industry and / or existing relationships with local agencies and media outlets.
  • A passion for video games / Rockstar Games.
  • Skilled gamer.
  • Strong knowledge base in the world of entertainment and culture: technology, music, film, etc.
  • Portuguese language.
