As Community Coordinator for Java Creators, you will be responsible for managing the Java Creator Community and ensuring that the team of Content Moderators are able to effectively review user-submitted Minecraft content and ensure quality content for Minecraft Java Edition. You will also act as the Java Realms Content Program’s representative at a studio level, owning communication and processes with adjacent stakeholder teams. This is an onsite Stockholm based position.

What You’ll Do 

• Managing content release pipeline and process, including escalations, release scheduling and maintaining documentation and guidelines. 
• Manage task management and release planning of work for Java Creator Content Moderators 
• Coordinating external communications for new Java Creator content releases with studio stakeholders such as Creative and Social. 
• Owning internal studio communication and program advocacy of the Java Realms Content Program. 
• Leading collaboration projects with external partners and other Mojang teams. 
• Build and scale a healthy community of Java Creators by fostering positive engagement and organising community building activities 
• Responsible for implementing overall team vision, goals, and strategy. 

 
Requirements  

• 4+ years experience in software testing, QA, or technically-oriented customer  
  support. 
• 2+ years in a game design-adjacent role such as game modding and creator content. 
• An ability to give clear, constructive feedback to creators for the purpose of  
  improving and publishing their creations. 
• Wide experience with computer or console games, especially Minecraft or  
  other sandbox games. 
• Expert knowledge of Minecraft’s systems, core gameplay loop and community of players. 
• The desire to deliver excellence in the product on an individual and brand  
  level. 
• Excellent communication skills working within a small team, while being able  
  to relate and relay information to a larger organization.  
• An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. 
• Near-native proficiency in written and spoken English. 
• An eye for what makes games fun, functional, and simple to use. 
• Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools such as Slack,  
  Microsoft Office, and Azure DevOps.
