What We Do

Our Data & Analytics teams build powerful stories and visuals that inform the games we make, the technology we develop, and business decisions that drive Epic.

What You'll Do

As our Compliance Analytics Lead, you will work directly with our Legal and Trust and Safety teams. You and your team of embedded analysts will work in a cross-functional environment to understand requests from these partners, explain the data available across many sources including how it was generated, and collect data to answer business questions. This role spans many responsibilities including finding, verifying, organizing, and delivering the data that is critical to ensuring the safety and happiness of our players.

In this role, you will

  • Be a hands-on manager leading a team of embedded analysts supporting several related partner teams
  • Work with analytics, finance, programming, and platform partners to source domain-specific technical knowledge and data, develop an understanding of business processes, and document data lineage
  • Maintain high standards of verbal and written communication competencies to advise our partners on the complexities of our data
  • Collaborate across the business to proactively identify changes in data needs and/or new data requirements arising as a result of partner requests
  • Manage and execute regulatory reporting to the highest standard of accuracy

What we're looking for

  • At least five years of hands-on experience in analytics and/or data management
  • At least two years of experience managing other analysts or data scientists
  • Experience partnering with non-technical stakeholders (legal or government settings strongly preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Must have hands-on experience and proficiency with SQL and other database technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with complex data sets, systems, and processes
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic that can work both independently with limited supervision, as well as in a team environment
  • Logical thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

$203,959$299,140 CAD
