Job Description

POSITION: PART-TIME CONCESSION/ F&B WORKER

REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Supervisor/Food & Beverage Manager

FLSA STATUS: Hourly Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

Part-time event based only

This position works all Concession Functions. Functions serving food & beverage items.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fulfilling each guest’s order.
  • Maintaining all Concession equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
  • Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must.
  • Position is very hands on.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORK CONTACTS

Daily contact with the Food & Beverage Manager, Supervisors and other convention center employees.  

PHYSICAL EFFORT

This position requires stooping and lifting.  Substantial walking and lifting of thirty pounds to the shoulder.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Works throughout the building.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • At least one year experience in a facility servicing meals for large events.
  • Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
  • Servesaf certified
  • Attention to detail and service oriented.
  • All applicants must be able to pass credit and criminal background check.
  • Must be able to calculate any kind of monetary transaction.
