We are hiring remote workers for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, or NYC areas. At this time, only candidates in these locations will be considered. 

What You’ll Do
Calm is looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented professional to join us as our first Consultant Operations Specialist. You will play a key role in leading projects and strategic initiatives while managing the end-to-end process for Broker + Consultant prospective inquiries for proper vetting and routing,  and identifying areas where partnership is needed and executing thoughtful partnerships cross-functionally to craft compelling and valuable responses.

Broker + Consultant Operations 

  • Own the Consultant Relations mailbox as first point of contact to vet and appropriately route and update relevant tracking programs to ensure the capture of referral feed to sales
  • Collaborate with Product, Security and other cross-functional teams to create content
  • Own the management of various benefit specific programs/systems (BenefitFlow, Benefit Pitch, Zywave, Mercer VIP) 
  • Assist in  the vetting and coordination of Consultant + Broker specific events/relationships
  • Continuously improve our Broker + Consultant outreach process to ensure the most effective and efficient operations
  • Implement rigorous quality control processes of Sales Enablement Training, ensuring that this is a trusted source of truth. This includes monitoring that accurate, approved and up to date information is reflected and outdated information is removed
  • Work with product teams to own, craft and deliver customized collateral specific for Broker + Consultant outreach
  • Assist with strategic initiatives that range from being tightly managed to working autonomously
  • Plan and execute cross-functional projects. This includes determining milestones, creating deliverables, and reporting progress 

Who You Are

  • Experience working within Health & Welfare at a Broker and/or Consulting organization or within an organization’s Benefits department
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven expertise in engaging with executive stakeholders, inclusive of writing executive level summaries
  • Strong project management skill with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Willingness to dive into anything - problem-solver mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills

Nice to Haves

  • CEBS Certification
  • HIPAA Certified

Minimum Requirements

  • This role typically requires 5+ years of related experience
  • Life & Health License (Resident State Minimum or receive within 90 days of role) 
  • Salesforce experience

The on target earnings for this role are $120,000 annualized with a 90/10 split between base pay and incentive compensation. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and other qualifications. This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.
