Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking a bold, creative thinker to drive content creation for digital ads in the US - a key growth market for Runna. As a self-starter with fresh, attention-grabbing ideas, you’ll take ownership of campaigns to amplify Runna’s presence in the US, bringing an innovative mindset, thinking outside the box, and cutting through the noise in this exciting market.

This role will be based in our Vauxhall office in London, but we're looking for someone from the US or with a strong understanding of the US market to help drive Runna’s presence there. You’ll work closely with the UK-based Performance Marketing Lead and Creative Manager.

What you'll be doing

This role is focused on creating digital ads that drive action - specifically getting users to download the Runna app in the US. Reporting to the Performance Marketing Lead (UK), you'll create engaging, culturally relevant content for paid ads on Meta, Google, and TikTok to support Runna's growth in the US. Working closely with the Creative Manager, you'll help develop campaigns that resonate with US audiences and bring our brand to life in this key market.

  • Video Content Creation – From concept to production, you’ll create thumb-stopping videos that cut through the noise on Meta, Google, TikTok and Youtube.
  • Campaign Ideation – Generate creative ideas for digital ads, both strategic and timely, in response to current trends or new product features.
  • UGC Collation – Work with Runna ambassadors to create standout content for digital ads.
  • Photography – Shoot and edit photos to build a content library for ads and Runna communications.
  • Creative Asset Review – Support the Creative Manager in reviewing content from external agencies to ensure it aligns with Runna’s brand.
  • Event Content – Attend events and capture content for use across all channels (and generally getting involved in startup bits and bobs!)

Please note: this role does not include the management or production of content for organic social media channels.

Collaborating with Creators and Ambassadors: You love working with brand ambassadors and influencers to gather user-generated content (UGC) that feels authentic, guiding them to create content that aligns with the brand while maintaining their voice.

Working in a Fast-Paced Environment: You thrive in a startup environment where speed and adaptability are key. You’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and executing with precision, delivering high-quality work under tight timelines.

Contributing to a Mission-Driven Brand: You’re eager to contribute to a brand helping people improve their lives through running. You understand how to create content that inspires and engages a fitness-focused audience.

What experience we’re looking for

Key Skills:

  • 1.5+ years of experience in video content creation with a strong focus on shooting or editing video for digital platforms. Experience with Meta, TikTok or Youtube is preferred.

About you:

  • You know the US market inside out, and can create content that resonates locally.
  • Experience with PremierPro/ AfterEffects/ InShot/ CapCut or similar.
  • You can confidently shoot and edit high-quality videos for digital ads within brand guidelines.
  • You have a strong portfolio of compelling visuals that cut through noise.
  • You’re comfortable creating both short-form and long-form video content.
  • Experience in generating ideas for timely, strategic video campaigns.
  • You work quickly and can execute multiple briefs simultaneously.
  • You have some experience in Graphic Design or are keen to develop this skill
  • You’re either based in London (or willing to work in person 2+ days a week).

Bonus Points if:

  • You’ve worked with Figma or a similar tool before.
  • You love running and are passionate about our mission to make running training effective, easy, and enjoyable for everyone.

Interview process

Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible. Once you’ve applied via Workable and submitted your portfolio, the process will consist of the following stages:

  1. Introductory chat with Calum, Creative Manager (25 minutes video call)
  2. Take Home Task & interview (50 minutes virtual interview with Calum and Laura, Performance Marketing Lead)
  3. Office Visit & Meet the team (60 minutes including an interview with Miranda, Head of Growth and Dom, CEO and a chance to meet the team)

Once the process is finished, we promise to let you know our decision as soon as possible.

We offer a salary of £31,500 - £42,000 (depending on experience), plus equity in the form of Runna stock options.
