Position Details:

• Number of hours: 32 hours/week
• Length of position: 6-months - March/April 2024 - September/October 2024 (dates to be discussed)
• Location: Toronto, ON  (must be able to work evenings and weekends)
• Note: This role is open to current students and new grads

About the Role & Team

Working hand-in-hand with both our editorial content and video departments, you’ll help deliver incredible content to our vast and dedicated app and social audience. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your storytelling, research and analytical skills across a variety of multimedia platforms, and be part of a sterling Content operation which reaches millions of sports fans daily. We nimbly cover the entire sports landscape with the industry’s only true mobile-first approach.

About the Work

• Curating team and league feeds on theScore app by: 
• Coordinating the placement of in-house and third-party article/video content in league and team feeds. 
• Writing headlines as per house style.
• Writing captions for video highlights.
• Other duties as required.

About You

• Any sports fan studying media should be able to contribute in our environment. 
• We’re looking for someone with the ability to work independently and with attention to detail, who knows how to write a tight sentence/headline/video caption and who can do so with little oversight and without errors.
