WHOOP is hiring a Copy Lead, Brand to elevate brand storytelling through bold ideas and exceptional craft.

This role is responsible for leading concept development and execution across integrated campaigns, social, and partnerships—bringing a distinct point of view and a high bar for creative excellence.

As a senior individual contributor, you will shape and drive creative work across key campaign initiatives, partnering closely with copy and creative teammates to expand and push the WHOOP voice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • <li>
  • Lead concept development and write high-impact campaign ideas including taglines, campaign lines, and headline-driven executions across channels
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Own creative output across key projects, setting the bar for quality, craft, and originality
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Translate briefs and insights into compelling creative territories, including naming systems, campaign platforms, and narrative frameworks
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Write across OOH, print, digital, email, experiential including scripts for video and social content, with a strong understanding of platform-specific best practices
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Partner cross-functionally with brand, design, and creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns, social content, and partnerships
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Present and articulate creative concepts clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback to strengthen the work
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Provide feedback and elevate other writers’ work
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Work alongside creative leadership to protect and evolve the WHOOP voice

QUALIFICATIONS

  • </b></br><div>
  • <li>
  • 5–8 years of experience in copywriting with a strong portfolio of campaign or brand work
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting taglines, campaign lines, and concept-driven creative
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Experience writing scripts for video, social, and other narrative formats
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and how to create work that resonates in culture
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Experience developing naming systems for campaigns, products, or initiatives
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Strong creative instincts with the ability to generate, refine, and elevate big ideas
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to fast-paced, iterative creative processes
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Comfort presenting creative work and engaging in constructive critique with peers and stakeholders
  • </li>
  • <li>
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.&nbsp;

  • <em>At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.</em>
  • <em>The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $150,000.
  • Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
  • Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.&nbsp;</em>
  • <em>In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.</em>
  • <em>These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs.
  • While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.</em>
