We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated IT Administrator to join our IT Team in Malta.
Our team's core mission is to deliver efficient and responsive IT support to all GIG users.
Responsibilities:
● Provide exceptional onsite and remote support to ensure timely and effective incident response
● Log end-user issues and service fulfillment requests using the Jira Service Desk system
● Collaborate effectively with the global IT Team
● Meticulously maintain an inventory of IT assets
● Expertly set up and maintain operating environments on end-user workstations, encompassing operating systems and approved software
● Diligently ensure that operating systems and office applications are kept up-to-date with the latest security and functionality updates, adhering to our organizational patch cycle policy
● Ensure that service fulfillment procedures, incident troubleshooting steps, systems setup implementation, and infrastructure setups are meticulously documented, updated, and consistently followed
● Rigorously ensure that all office setups, from end-user workstation systems to back-end applications, are fortified in accordance with organizational IT security policies and industry best practices
● Proactively assist in purchasing hardware and software to meet evolving requirements
● Actively support IT System Engineers with diverse projects
Requirements
● Demonstrated excellence in technical and hands-on working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and MacOS
● Proven working knowledge and experience in maintaining and troubleshooting the following:
○ Active Directory (Users and Asset Management)
○ Group Policy Objects
○ Desktop and Server Hardware
○ G Suite Apps (Mail, Google Drive, etc.)
● Atlassian (Jira Service Desk, Confluence, and Insights)
● Video Conferencing Systems based on Zoom and Google Meet
Preferred Qualifications:
● Working knowledge of Azure AD / Intune and Office 365
● Experience with JAMF (Enterprise management software for Apple Devices)
● Knowledge of
○ Access Switch management
○ Altaro Backup Solution
○ Experience in Virtualization (Hyper-V)
● Certifications from Microsoft (Azure Administrator Associate) and Cisco (CCNA) are advantageous

● Service Asset and Configuration Management
