We're putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for Runners

We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favourite fitness devices.

We’re growing extremely fast and in November 2023 closed a new £5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. Requirements

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for an exceptional, empathetic, proactive and driven individual who’s ready to drive exceptional relationships with our top creator partnerships in the United States. You will play a pivotal role in helping us build industry-leading creator partnerships, sourcing and owning the relationships with our top US creator partners, as well as supporting associates in the team to build out a network of brilliant smaller creators.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience building strong relationships with creators, who can take a leading role in ensuring our top creator partners LOVE working with us.

As an Creator Partnerships Manager, your role will include:

  1. Sourcing new US creator partnerships (60%): You’ll work closely with Shamy (US Ambassador Lead) and Caitlin (Head of Ambassadors) to source new US creator partnerships who will train with Runna for their training goals and expertly showcase the value of the app to their audience. This will include driving initial conversations, building compelling commercial proposals and showing them the value of partnering with Runna.
  2. Owning the relationships (30%): Working closely with Shamy to ensure we’re building strong, empathetic relationships with our top ambassadors. This will include managing the relationship, building engaging content plans, ensuring they are getting the most out of their training, and creating exciting opportunities for them to engage with the brand (e.g. race trips).
  3. Supporting event activations in and around Boston and NYC (10%) Supporting in hosting flagship race weekend activations and ambassador race trips (e.g. NYC Marathon weekend).

The Creator Partnerships Manager role is a brilliant opportunity to take a leading role in shaping our US creator partnerships as we continue to evolve how we work with content creators in the US. As the person owning the relationships with our top US brand ambassadors, you will get great exposure to industry-leading creators in the space and there’s a huge opportunity to help shape the strategy going forward.

Requirements

A degree isn’t required for this role, but if you don’t have a degree, we do want to see proven experience for this role such as work experience or personal projects.

About you:

  • 1-2 years experience managing creator relationships (bonus points if you’ve worked in the fitness industry!). Proven ability to build strong, empathetic relationships with creators, talent agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build compelling commercial proposals and drive negotiations. You know your way around a spreadsheet and can analyse the expected ROI from new content partnerships.
  • You’re a “doer”; not just a “thinker”. You’re hands-on and want to roll up your sleeves / get stuck in (you have a real ‘go get it’ attitude).
  • You’re organized, efficient and can execute at pace. You can manage lots of spinning plates and prioritize effectively.
  • You’re a fast learner, see feedback as a gift and constantly think about how you can improve.
  • You’re fun, personable and love running!
  • You’re Boston-based (or able to work in person 2+ days per week), and you’re happy to travel to New York semi-regularly to meet our ambassadors.

Interview process

Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and will consist of the following stages:

  1. Kick off! (Please apply now via Workable)
  2. Introductory chat with Lou (US GM) and/or Em (Talent Lead) (45mins)
  3. Take home task (2hrs)
  4. Virtual interview (45mins) with Shamy (US Ambassador Lead) and Millie (UK Ambassador Lead)
  5. In-person final round (office visit), with Shamy, Lou, Caitlin (Head of Ambassadors), Josh (COO) as well as wider team chats with the Boston office

Once the process is finished, we promise to let you know our decision as soon as possible.

Benefits

We offer a salary of $65,000-80,000 (depending on experience), plus equity in the form of Runna stock options.
