System Administration & Governance: Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot). Manage Pardot Business Units, user provisioning via the Salesforce–Pardot Connector, role and permission-set configuration, tracker domains, prospect allocation monitoring, and overall platform health and maintenance.
Workflow, Automations & Data Integrations: Build, troubleshoot, and optimize Engagement Studio programs, automation rules, completion actions, and triggered emails. Own the design and troubleshooting of the Pardot–Salesforce Connector, including prospect-to-lead/contact sync, custom field mappings, and sync queue health.
Template & Asset Management: Provide advanced support for email personalization, dynamic content, and template/content builder configurations to ensure brand consistency and effective execution.
Data & Audience Management: Oversee the Pardot prospect database, dynamic and static prospect lists, segmentation rules, and suppression governance. Ensure strict data hygiene, accurate scoring/grading inputs, and accurate targeting across all sends.
User Support & Enablement: Act as the primary technical point of contact for the marketing team. Field user queries regarding platform capabilities, troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues, and provide guidance on platform best practices.
Issue Triage & Vendor Escalation: Triage Pardot platform bugs, deliverability issues, and sync errors. Act as the primary liaison with Salesforce/Pardot account and technical support teams when product-level escalation is required.
Innovation & Proof of Concepts: Partner with marketing operations leadership to test out new product features. Develop and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) to evaluate new capabilities before rolling them out to the broader team.
Experience: 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Marketing Automation, Marketing Operations, or a related technical system administration role, with a track record of independent work product.
Technical Stack: Deep administrative expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) is required, including hands-on experience with the Salesforce–Pardot Connector, Engagement Studio, scoring/grading, and the prospect data model. Familiarity with broader Salesforce CRM architecture is a strong plus.
