This position is part of the Fan Acquisition and Engagement team at the WNBA, dedicated to digital growth and engagement. The CRM Lifecycle Lead will adopt a “fan-first” mindset and be responsible for developing global lifecycle marketing campaigns across multiple CRM channels – including email, in-browser messages, in-app messages, and push notifications. Successful candidates will be able to create and execute comprehensive strategies that drive fan engagement, retention, and Lifetime Value. You should have experience with testing to optimize existing flows and build new flows across all CRM channels. This role will partner with and influence other cross-functional teams including Content, Creative, Partnerships, and more. You will also be directly responsible for managing a direct report who operates the WNBA email and in-browser messaging channel. The ideal candidate would also have a strong knowledge of the WNBA and its fan base.

Develop an overall vision for CRM channels (email, in-browser module, in-app message, push notifications), communicate the strategy, then execute with in-house channel leads

Ideate, implement, and optimize multi-channel lifecycle marketing programs globally for the WNBA App, WNBA League Pass and other Direct-to-Consumer initiatives across CRM channels

Maintain the health of all CRM channels while focusing on bringing in new fans, cultivating fan engagement across products, and re-engagement to reduce overall churn

Leverage fan attributes and behavioral data to ideate audience cohorts, and leverage marketing-technology to create compelling, personalized messages at scale

Directly manage a team member who executes day-to-day operations of email and in-browser channels – including content planning, channel briefs, and execution

Bachelor’s degree

Experience building CRM channels and technology, including familiarity with the full tech stack and functionality (particularly Braze, Wunderkind, Moveable Ink)
