As a Unity UI Developer for a mobile companion application, your main responsibilities will be:
- Designing and developing complex UI interfaces for the mobile companion application using Unity and C#.
- Contributing to the development of the overall application architecture and design.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of the UI components with the rest of the application.
- Ensuring the application is optimized for different mobile devices and platforms.
- Participating in code reviews, debugging, and optimization.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to other developers on the team.
- Participating in the planning and scoping of related tasks.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position would possess a strong background in Unity development with a focus on UI, have a good understanding of mobile device and platform limitations, and possess excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Additionally, they should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, be knowledgeable about game development trends, and have a strong portfolio that showcases their work in Unity development.
Basic requirements:
- Commercial experience working on UI interfaces as a Unity Developer.
- Excellent knowledge of C#, Unity, and Unity UI systems.
- Strong understanding of mobile device and platform limitations and optimizations.
- Proficient in version control systems such as Git and Perforce.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment, including cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with optimizing and improving performance.
- Knowledge of the game development industry and passion for gaming.
Ability to work in the same time frame as our project team. This means:
- You can choose the working hours which are comfortable for you but we expect them to be overlapped at least 75% with the project team.
- In order to work more efficiently you may need to provide support to the team members using your tools.
- Work location is flexible but depends on the specific project. For this position we favor candidates who can work from the office or in hybrid mode.
