Opportunity 

Picture yourself fully engaged in the realm of state-of-the-art Data and reporting technologies, working closely alongside our seasoned Data Intelligence team. Gain hands-on experience by working on impactful projects, where you'll develop Business intelligence solutions. This internship goes beyond learning; as a Data Intelligence Intern at TwinHealth, you'll get hands-on experience and play a crucial role in projects that use data for decision-making and business growth.

Embrace this opportunity to shape your career path and maximize your potential with TwinHealth. Your journey to excellence begins right here. This is a 4-month internship position with 20+ hours per week, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in extracting and transforming data from various sources into the data warehouse.
  • Data Cleansing: Cleanse and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Help design and implement ETL processes to move and transform data.
  • Assist in monitoring data quality and identifying and resolving data issues.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for business users.
  • Document data processes, data dictionaries, and data lineage.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business analysts, and IT professionals.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to the team, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
  • Utilize various database tools and resources to clean, transform, and augment data as needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis as required to support business needs.
  • Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior BI engineers to build ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse.
  • Build and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and report specifications.
  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutions to ensure they are running efficiently

Qualifications 

  • Current enrollment in a relevant Masters program such as Computer Science or a related field, or recently graduated from a relevant Masters program. 
  • One year of experience in a data science, computer science or similar role. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes (experience with tools like SQL Server Integration Services, Informatica, or similar is a plus).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Prior internship or coursework related to data warehousing, business intelligence, or data analytics is a plus.
  • This remote opportunity is available to US based persons.

Compensation  

The compensation for this position is $25.00 per hour. 

  • Twin Health will support with school credit for this internship.
  • If an entry level position opens, the intern will be considered for this role.
