The Role:
We are looking for an organized, data-driven, and curious team player to join our cross-functional team focused on pricing and curation. As a Data Scientist Intern, you will support and inform various functions by analyzing user behavior, pricing, and competitor data to provide insights to inform critical business decisions. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be able to adapt to changes within the business and the industry. 

What you'll be doing:
  • Analyze user behavior data, funnel metrics, and competitor data to make recommendations to enhance and improve our pricing and curation algorithms
  • Understand, propose, and implement new ideas within Gametime’s pricing and curation infrastructure
  • Leverage analytics and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision-making
  • Influence and build relationships with people across all levels of the organization, internally and externally

  • Our ideal candidate has:
  • 3+ years of college (completed junior year of college or recent college graduate)
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Some experience with Python or R
  • Proactive and “Always be Curious” mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience with a data visualization software a plus
  • Experience with A/B testing a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Economic principles
  • Solid understanding of data analysis and capacity to drive conclusions from the analysis
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and provide recommendations to complex business decisions
  • Ability to work across disparate data sources to obtain sensible results
