We’re excited to be recruiting for a DC Inventory Analyst to be responsible for managing inventory levels and providing data driven insights to optimize inventory control and supply chain operations. Overseeeing the inventory area, this role ensures that the inventory is accurately tracked, replenished efficiently and any challenges with returns or value-added services are addressed. The role focuses on maintaining stock availability while minimizing overstocking, improving supply chain processes, and providing detailed reports that aid decision-making.

Main responsibilities:
Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels to meet operational demands and minimize overstocking.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce carrying costs.
- Lead regular stock audits, full physical stock counts (1x/year), and cycle count rechecks.
- Oversee and support the Inventory and Returns team in daily operations.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze inventory trends, stock variances, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Produce detailed reports on: Stock turnover, Reorder points, Stock accuracy, Gap and root cause analysis, Forecasting and cycle count performance etc.
- Identify issues and recommend improvements based on data findings.
Stock Replenishment
- Collaborate with procurement to forecast demand and ensure timely replenishment.
- Avoid stockouts or surplus through proactive planning and real-time adjustments.
Returns Analysis
- Track and analyze returned products to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the Returns Controller to reduce return rates and improve customer satisfaction.
- Report on return trends and propose actionable solutions.
Value-Added Services (VAS) Support
- Monitor the impact of VAS (e.g., kitting, customization) on inventory availability and planning.
- Partner with the VAS & Returns Controller to streamline VAS processes.
- Provide insights to support VAS efficiency and brand store alignment.
Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in current inventory and warehouse processes.
- Propose and help implement new tools or workflows to enhance accuracy, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, procurement, and brand operations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in inventory management, supply chain, or data analysis.
- Prior experience managing or supervising a small team preferred.
- Proficient in SAP WMS or similar inventory management systems.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of OH&S procedures in a warehouse/DC environment.
This is a Full-time position during standard business hours, with occasional overtime based on the DC demands. A combination of desk-based analytical work and floor-based warehouse involvement and there will be occasional travel for training, meetings, or process improvement initiatives.
