While Basketball Operations runs the league's on-court activities, other departments manage relationships with television and digital media partners, develop marketing partnerships with some of the world's most recognizable companies, oversee the licensing of NBA merchandise, and handle a wide range of responsibilities that drive the NBA's success.
The role will include overall social media performance analysis, social media management, content generation, promotional execution and agency management. The NBA Social Media Analyst will drive social analytics operations to compile data into meaningful, automated, recurrent reports. Data will be analyzed to identify local trends, provide recommendations to better integrate social media throughout the fan journey, drive real time decisions and eventually generate revenues.
The NBA Data intelligence Social Media Analyst will also manage a budget, works with other departments and directly manage some social media accounts across multiple Asia territories under the supervision of the Social Media Lead.
Build in-house reporting capabilities to allow the organization to make better informed, faster business decisions and leverage on trends from content, social, and marketing perspective
Support and enable business and revenue opportunity be ensuring audience developpement and media buying benchmark to analys actove brands on platforms for potential sponsorship.
Measure the business impact of social media throughout the fans' journey - awareness, engagement, monetization, DTC, membership strategy - for both the NBA and our partners
Map the profile of social media fans with our target audience across all channels and identify business opportunities on new social media platforms (monetization, DTC, viewership) to deeper build an integrated fan's experience
Support business development and partners/content monetization by sharing insights and detailed reporting to all business lines, help in building the monetization matrix and collecting intelligence on the ecosystem, including agencies and brands, market
Work with the agency and Social Media Lead to develop a content strategy for the social media channels, specifically around NBA activities and league tentpoles such as Start of Season, All-Star, Playoffs and Finals
Manage various stakeholders and agencies to maintain the highest yield on our media buying and high understanding of the platform pricing model.
The Social Media Analyst is a highly motivated, data-driven individual with experience and a passion for social media and growth hacking.
Understanding of local/global social media platforms and consumer consumption of each Business-oriented approach to build relevant dashboards for various business needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $40,000 - $70,000
