For a quarter of a century, Crypto.com Arena has been marked with performances and special events that brought international stature to the downtown Los Angeles venue including concerts headlined by Taylor Swift, Drake, Beyoncé, Prince, U2, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Usher, Jay-Z, Keith Urban, Roger Waters, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Michael Bublé, Carrie Underwood and Justin Timberlake, as well as world championship boxing, family shows and other live events. 
 
Crypto.com Arena is not only a great venue for sports and entertainment, but it also holds a special place in the hearts of the local community. The arena has witnessed many historic moments, unforgettable performances, and become an iconic landmark in the region for the most popular and important events.  

Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist administers the social media accounts for Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater, L.A. LIVE and affiliated events, while managing the venues' and events' social media marketing efforts to achieve overall department goals. The incumbent drives social media strategy, content ideation/production and assists in developing paid campaigns to market events, foster brand awareness/engagement, increase website traffic, and maximize sales revenue.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages all day-to-day social media for Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater, L.A. LIVE and affiliated events, creatively and effectively programming the social media accounts including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok aligned with branding and marketing objectives.
  • Designs and implements content strategy to align with department’s business goals. Produces compelling content to be used on social media platforms in accordance with strategy
  • Creates reports on KPIs and ROI for social media initiatives. Collects and analyzes data and tracks performance of various initiatives. Develops and implements changes to improve business results.
  • Curates and follows a monthly social media content calendar.
  • Researches current trends and audience preferences to stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Assists in producing and implementing website content for venues and affiliated events.
  • Responsible for working events which includes escorting media, editing photos / websites and social media posts during award shows.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related area     
  • A minimum of 3 years of related work experience in a Marketing or Digital Marketing role.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign). 
  • Proven experience producing designs for various types of media (Website, Social Media & Print). Deep understanding and experience managing social media platforms (Amplify).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, outside agencies, organizations, and vendors with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to launch designs and pitch creative ideas that enhance projects.
  • Extremely detail oriented and adherent to strict file structure guidelines.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal team members.
  • Motivation to enforce, maintain, and improve design standards.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven & fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work outside “normal” business hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
  • Experience in web design, animation or coding a plus.
  • Events/Music industry experience preferred.

Pay Scale: $67,000- $84,337.00
