Job Summary

The Direct Marketing Specialist – Touring position will own, produce, and execute multiple Email, SMS and Wallet Push, including omnichannel direct marketing campaigns per week in a fast paced, rapid-growth environment dedicated to helping marketers promote their tours. This position will also work with tour marketers on the Wallet Pass project supporting all comms and helping to guide strategy, including working with the Snr Manager and Director of CRM to design personalization strategy across all channels.

Essential Functions

  • Create various email types, including announce, presale, on sale, and backend emails using HTMP, Ampscript and CSS and customer segmentation. Review the content for accuracy and check all information and links for errors. Report any issues to stakeholders, test email rendering using Email on Acid, and approve and deploy final version.
  • Set up SMS campaigns using Journey Builder in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). Proofread the content for accuracy and verify all information and links. Report any issues to stakeholders, and approve and deploy final version.
  • Provide guidance for marketers with all communications in relation to our Wallet Pass programs across venues, Tours and Festivals including SMS and Push notifications with batch file updates.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other marketers about program updates, including best practices, compliance rules, and product processes.
  • Source target lists through our segmentation engine based on predefined affinity parameters ensuring that engagement and conversion metrics are optimized
  • Analyze Email and SMS campaign results in our Analytics platform to recommend changes for future campaigns, communicate best practice to our marketing teams.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) in related field
  • 2-4 years Experience working in Email and SMS, Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
  • Some experience with Email HTML, AMPScript and troubleshooting CSS for email.
  • Project management experience a plus (working in Confluence, Jira or similar tool).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curious, organized and detailed.
  • Must have strong work ethic, problem solving and prioritization skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the music industry a plus.

Payscale: $69,000 - $72,746.10

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
