The Director of Broadcast Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Broadcast Technology Center (BTC) at Major League Baseball. The team is a mix of full-time and seasonal part-time staff that supports audio and video acquisition at more than 150 ballpark facilities, as well as numerous regional sports networks and radio stations. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our New York City operations center reporting to the Senior Director of Broadcast Technology. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading an operations team in a live broadcast environment and developing talent within that team. They will also have a strong functional understanding of IP networks, audio and video broadcast systems, video encoding and decoding, and integrated multimedia control systems.

Pay Range: $135,000 - $175,000
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
