The role

We are seeking a Director of Ecosystem Development who will drive strategic partnerships with creative agencies, freelancers, and technology partners to expand the capabilities of our Infinite Reality Studio and enhance our customers’ experience. 

This individual will be responsible for developing two major areas:

1. Agency and Freelance Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with 3D artists and tech artists, forming a network of creative agencies and trusted freelance partners to accelerate content generation and provide design services to customers.
2. Technology Integrations: Identify and partner with innovative technology providers to integrate their solutions into iR Studio. These partnerships will expand the functionality of iR Studio and contribute to our third-party marketplace for plugins and content. This person will collaborate with the VP of Strategy and the product team to secure partnerships, negotiate terms, and drive revenue growth.

What you’ll do

• Build a network of creative agencies and freelancers skilled in 3D and tech art, ensuring our customers have access to high-quality talent for immersive projects.
• Manage and nurture relationships with these partners to maintain ongoing collaboration and ensure they are up to date with iR’s capabilities and needs.
• Collaborate with the VP of Strategy to identify, evaluate, and integrate third-party partners that can enhance the iR Studio ecosystem.
• Work with the product and engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of partner technologies and plugins into iR Studio.
• Negotiate terms of engagement, revenue sharing, and partnership contracts with a focus on long-term collaboration.
• Work with product marketing to develop Go-to-Market strategies with partners, encompassing joint marketing initiatives, sales enablement programs, and co-selling opportunities.
• Stay informed about industry trends, particularly those related to 2D website integration, emerging spatial products, and AI-driven solutions that can enhance iR Studio’s offering.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and strategy teams to ensure alignment on partnership goals and joint value propositions.
• Track performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership on the success and impact of partnership initiatives.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or ecosystem development, with experience in 3D, XR, or game engine technologies.
• Strong network within the creative agency, freelance, or tech provider communities, especially in 3D content creation or game development.
• Experience with technology partnerships, negotiating contracts, and understanding revenue-sharing models.
• Familiarity with 2D website integration technologies and emerging spatial and AI products.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving results and scaling partnerships.

We’ll be extra pumped if you have

• Experience in WebXR or AI-enhanced immersive technologies.
• Knowledge of game engine ecosystems and plugin architecture.
