Who You Are

As Nutrabolt's Director of Global Tax, you will be responsible for the provisioning, compliance, and audit requirements related to the company’s multi-tiered partnership structure as well corporate taxation where applicable. This role covers state, federal, and international tax matters as well as the related statutory reporting requirements. This role reports to a senior leader and will be the primary liaison with the company’s third-party tax advisors and auditing. 

This role is eligible to participate in our Management Bonus Plan.             

What You're Good At:

  • Building and leading a team to support successful completion of all tax requirements
  • Preparing Federal and State partnership tax work papers for corporation, partnerships, and foreign jurisdictions
  • Preparing quarterly tax estimates for corporation, partnerships, and foreign jurisdictions
  • Completing quarterly and annual provision/ETR calculations and disclosures related to ASC 740, including rollforward of book to tax adjustments and deferred tax balances
  • Guiding and reviewing partnership K1’s, and state, federal, and foreign tax returns prepared by third party tax advisors
  • Completing international statutory reporting
  • Guiding and reviewing transactional tax filings (sales, use, VAT, etc.) prepared by third party tax advisors
  • Assisting in the interpretation of tax implications of current and future tax structures
  • Identifying and remediation of possible control deficiencies, policy modifications and process changes to reduce financial and other related risks
  • Ensuring tax policies and processes are well documented, applied consistently, and broadly understood
  • Maintaining federal, state, and international tax calendar
  • Performing research of relevant tax laws, regulations, and rulings to determine proper tax treatment of issues
  • Responding to tax notices
  • Driving process cross-functionally around all bottle bill compliance matters
  • Completing other duties as assigned

What You Contribute: 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 
  • CPA Required
  • 10+ years’ experience in corporate and partnership taxes
  • Big 4 public accounting experience
  • Highly analytical with strong Excel skills
  • Experience with an ERP or financial reporting and control system (ex. Microsoft Dynamics AX) 
  • A track record building strong internal/external relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, and are adaptable and a quick learner
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial drive and spirit to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
