The Analytics/Data Enablement department is a key part of the League’s Data & Analytics organization. Analytics Enablement is a group of expert professionals whose mission is to enable a data-driven culture at the NFL by having a consumption-based mindset. The Analytics Enablement team consists of Data Product Owners, Business Analysts, Analytic Engineers and BI Developers. By having a consolidated group with an outbound focus, we can ensure that all of the deliverables have a holistic and comprehensive view that enables data and analytics at scale.
Situated within the broader Data and Analytics organization, the Data and BI teams are undergoing a data modernization effort to create a modern enterprise data platform.
The Head of the Analytics Enablement department will lead the team in strategic planning and tactical execution of data solutions to enable analytics and fulfillment activities. This role is the primary liaison in creating an environment in which data can be easily accessed, analyzed and used to make informed decisions. The data and analytics enablement team are the stewards of the company’s single source of data truth and enable both data practitioners and consumers onto using the data.
