• Develops strategies and plans to promote products and services to individuals or other organizations.
• Supports business growth via creative development, market research, and disseminating materials that promote a favorable view of offerings.
• Responsible for developing the programs that will maximize the brand's awareness and sales, through the message and media that are meaningful to retailers and consumers. Typical Capabilities Scope: Responsible for a discipline or major/multiple departments. Translates organization objectives into a clear team strategy. Sets and meets goals that can have far reaching impact on business segment. Problem Solving: Problems are not clearly defined, and sufficient information may not be available. Occasionally, issues are complex where fundamental principles do not clearly apply or where data appears to conflict.
• Manages issues and resolves conflicts across cross functional teams, both internally and externally.
• Leadership: Accountable for results which impact the entire business segment; is a functional budget holder. Maintains deliberate connections cross-functionally.
• Responsible for the development of a team of professional managers and experienced individual contributors.
• Responsible for talent management and may provide input into succession planning and segmentation activities.
• Responsible for performance management, pay, and resourcing decisions for direct and indirect reports. Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree required in the relevant or a related field, or any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant or a related field.
