About the Role:

*This role is a New York City based HYBRID position. Candidates must be located in NYC, and willing to come into the office on a hybrid basis, three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).*

Fubo is seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Director of Strategic Finance to lead our financial planning, forecasting, and analytical initiatives across the organization. This role will be a key asset to the executive team and business unit leaders, driving high-impact decision-making through financial insights, rigorous analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of corporate finance, an ability to think strategically and operate tactically, and a proven track record of managing projects and partnering at all levels of the business, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of financial models, forecasts, and strategic analyses to support executive decision-making across departments including Marketing, Growth, Advertising, and Content Acquisition
• Collaborate on the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with company strategy and operational goals
• Provide oversight of cash flow management, identifying risks and opportunities and ensuring financial discipline across the business
• Develop and evolve key FP&A processes, driving efficiency, accuracy, and cross-functional accountability
• Design and lead the creation of executive dashboards and KPI reporting to deliver clear insights into business performance and drivers
• Deliver high-impact financial presentations and materials for the Board of Directors, investors, and executive leadership, including support for earnings calls and strategic planning sessions
• Support Finance team in capital markets and M&A as needed
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CFO and executive leadership, identifying business opportunities and financial risks
• Drive cost management initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies across the company
• Work closely with Accounting team in the monthly close process and maintain reports that provide financial metrics around actual vs forecasted performance
• Support Finance team in ad-hoc analyses

Qualifications:

Skills / Experience / Knowledge

• 7+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, strategic corporate finance, or FP&A, within the streaming media, entertainment, or technology industries
• Proven experience in leading FP&A functions or teams, with a strong track record of driving strategic insights and business outcomes
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution required
• Exceptional financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills; mastery of Microsoft Excel and fluency in or ability to learn financial tools and business intelligence platforms
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Fubo’s minimum base salary for this role if hired in New York City is $145,000 per year; maximum base salary for this role is $175,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo's equity plan, annual cash bonus plan, unlimited PTO, and a full range of medical benefits. The final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
