THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Director of Risk and Fraud to join our Business Transformation team in São Paulo. 

Our platform connects employers, employees, and well-being partners across 11 different countries. To continuously deliver value to all facets of our platform, we must maintain a robust ecosystem by identifying, mitigating, and preventing fraudulent activities. We are searching for an individual based in Brazil who will take the helm of our global fraud management efforts.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Design and execute programs aimed at detecting, deflecting, and preventing abuse within our platform, directly influencing the overall health of our ecosystem
  • Collaborate closely with various teams within the organization, including Product Development, Legal, Revenue, and Customer Experience, to design and implement alterations to products and processes that improve our defenses against fraud
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives to combat fraud across our entire ecosystem, including members, clients, and partners
  • Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of fraud managers responsible for executing fraud identification and deflection initiatives
  • Recognize that individual success is insufficient; the prosperity of the entire team and those around you is essential for sustainable growth
  • Be a vocal advocate for fraud prevention, actively participating in the future development of our products and features

WHO YOU ARE

  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience spearheading fraud management initiatives within the tech industry, encompassing strategy development and execution, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position
  • Demonstrate a compelling track record of making a significant impact on the business through the implementation of fraud prevention and deflection programs
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex data and fraud-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with data engineers, IT staff, and other departments to integrate fraud detection tools into existing systems and business processes.
  • Proficiency in both Portuguese and English is mandatory
  • Commitment to staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in AI, machine learning, and fraud detection methods.
  • Uphold high ethical standards, exercise excellent judgment, and excel in constructive interactions with stakeholders from diverse functional areas
  • Have a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to people's happiness and well-being
  • Display exceptional discipline, self-organization skills, and the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks in the face of multiple demands
  • Maintain a perpetually curious mindset, continuously striving for improvement in daily operations
