We’re looking for a Director of Technical Program Management to lead our Software TPM team in the PMO.

As a Director of Technical Project Manager you will do:

  • Team Management:
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams
    • Provide guidance and direction to team members
    • Foster a collaborative and productive working environment
    • Monitor and manage team performance
  • Project Planning:
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
    • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
    • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel and materials
    • Set clear project milestones and timelines
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
    • Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project timelines
    • Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and regulations
  • Communication:
    • Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders
    • Provide regular project status updates to senior management
    • Resolve conflicts and issues within the project team
    • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Monitor project budgets and expenses
    • Optimise resource allocation for maximum efficiency
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation
    • Prepare reports and presentations for project reviews
    • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible

Eastern Time Zone strongly preferred, but open to candidates in Central Time Zone.

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience leading or working on technical projects
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles
  • Worked on complex software projects preferably in a startup environment
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A Drive for results, willingness to learn and push the team to deliver on time and under budget
  • A desire to learn new things and accept challenges
  • Comfort speaking to all audiences and the ability to adapt complex challenges into tangible solutions

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates’ pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1 $206,975 - $243,500
  • Region 2 $196,626 - $231,325
  • Region 3 $186,278 - $219,150
